Espresso cups POSITANO | Gray

Modern porcelain cups for liquor and espresso from the contemporary tableware collection POSITANO, still life tableware. re-design made of gray porcelain of the traditional set carafe and cups found in old italian “osteria”. A tribute to the folk tradition, to the ritual of the “banquet” and to the design of everyday life, where the protagonist is the raw material and the tactile experience of the porcelain in sight.
The porcelain is colored with high-temperature pigments directly in the mixture, the gray color is therefore not superficial. Trasparent glaze internally only, the external finish is matt on sight without the use of glaze; and by exploiting the waterproof properties of porcelain, the object does not absorb stains. All materials are first choice, non-toxic and suitable for food use and resistant to everyday use.
