SOTTOBOSCO fine dining handmade plate

SOTTOBOSCO (/Undergrowth) is a collection of fine dining handmade plates and tableware, inspired by the forest floor and its elements: leaves, shells, etc. Craftsmanship is the guiding principle: each piece in the collection is handmade through every single process, embracing different deformations each time, making every plate unique. This highlights the artisanal quality of the object and enhances the presentation to the fullest. SOTTOBOSCO is a collection created in collaboration with the Michelin-starred restaurant Oasis Sapori Antichi Vallesaccarda.

These plates are the result of artisanal craftsmanship using the slab technique and are entirely handmade. Variations and slight differences in shape between pieces are due to natural deformations during the forming, drying, and firing processes, and are not considered production defects but rather a guarantee of the product’s authenticity, uniqueness, and sustainability.
