“Feeding the planet, energy for life” is the theme of universal exhibition held in Milan in 2015 (Expo Milano 2015) focused on the awareness raising on the themes of the agricultural and gastronomic peculiarities of the territories, and in particular the right to a healthy, secure and sufficient nutrition for all the inhabitants of the earth, by virtue of a strong concern for the quality of food, but also for reflecting on food education and hunger in the world.
The 2015 Expo inauguration is characterized by the protests of citizens and activists who dispute the neoliberal scope of the great event and the green washing of the American giants of the food and drink industry: Coca Cola is in fact with McDonalds the official partner of Expo Milano 2015.

“Feeding The Planet / My Mother’s Handmade Tomato Sauce” is a bottle of homemade tomato sauce made from one of our mothers, and randomly delivered to our address in Berlin on the days of the inauguration of Expo 2015.

“Nutrire il pianeta, energia per la vita” è il tema dell’esposizione universale tenutasi a Milano nel 2015.
L’obiettivo dell’Expo Milano 2015 è quello di una sensibilizzazione sui temi delle peculiarità agricole e gastronomiche dei territori, ed in particolare del diritto ad un’alimentazione sana, sicura e sufficiente per tutti gli abitanti della Terra, in virtù della forte preoccupazione per la qualità del cibo, ma anche per riflettere sull’educazione alimentare e sulla fame nel mondo.
L’inaugurazione dell’Expo 2015 sarà caratterizzata dalle proteste di cittadini ed attivisti che contestano la portata neoliberista del grande evento e il greenwashing dei grossi colossi americani del food and drink: Coca Cola è infatti insieme a McDonalds il partner ufficiale di Expo Milano 2015.

“Feeding The Planet / My Mother’s Handmade Tomato Sauce” è una bottiglia di salsa artigianale di pomodoro fatta in casa da una delle nostre madri, e casualmente recapitata al nostro indirizzo a Berlino nei giorni dell’inaugurazione di Expo 2015.
