Sottobosco

Sottobosco (“Undergrowth” in english) is a collection of plates with a deeply artisanal character, inspired by the forest and designed for the Michelin-starred restaurant OASIS Sapori Antichi in Vallesaccarda, Italy.
“Walking through the forest” and sensing its steps, air, and colors. Leaves, shells, bark, moss, lichen, mushrooms: the forest is the key element, the path that must be crossed by car to reach the Oasis restaurant.
Each piece in the collection is handmade throughout every step, embracing unique distortions each time, making each plate distinct from the others. This approach highlights the craftsmanship of each object in the mise en place, echoing the working style of the Fischetti family’s restaurant.
