Porcelain necklace URANO / Collection SATELLITE

Description

A modern design jewellery collection inspired by the planets and its satellites, made of soil, ceramic. This is the modern necklace URANO, a design piece of jewelry composed of two porcelain empty spheres in a harmonic progression, with a minimalist nature, but a modern and classic necklace at the same time.
All the products of the SATELLITE collection are made strictly by hand piece by piece, a technique for casting through liquid porcelain injected into chalk molds (also made by hand) with syringes and needles of different thickness that also allow the extraction of excess porcelain. This technique allows us to empty the porcelain spheres internally and relieve them of excess weight, in order to make the object more comfortable for use, even daily.

Handcrafted in small series
Slight variations and imperfections are the result of the handmade process and add character to every piece.

matt porcelain Limoges (France), firing 1250°
High quality stainless steel wire, with screw clasp

Productive process:
Handmade casting technique in handmade chalk moulds; drilling, grinding by hand. Firing: 1250°. Packaging by hand.
