PROVVISORIO | Exhibition @ 2 V.I.TE

We are pleased to announce our participation in “2 Vite — Costellazioni di Futuri”, a collective exhibition bringing together projects by product and graphic designers, exploring different visions of contemporary design and possible futures.

For this exhibition, ORTOGONALE presents four pieces from the PROVVISORIO collection, a project that reflects on the theme of unfinished spaces and the social, cultural, and environmental meanings embedded in incomplete constructions.

Through a series of ceramic objects conceived as fictional homeware for unfinished buildings, PROVVISORIO investigates the relationship between beauty, precariousness, and abandoned landscapes. The collection transforms the vase — an archetypal object of ornament and domestic culture — into a tool for reflection on the contradictions of the contemporary territory.

The exhibition takes place in the evocative setting of the former Bourbon prison of Montefusco, a place marked by history and transformation, creating a dialogue between the works on display and the layers of memory embedded in the architecture.
